Hours: 1.0 CEU *CEU will be awarded after an attendance verification form is completed and emailed to Section Office. Register Online - https://nysawwa.org/events/HABs-Webinar About the Webinar: The goal is to help public water systems be ready to respond to a Harmful Algal Bloom (HAB) in their source water and if needed sample for the HAB toxin microcystin. NYSDOH Bureau of Water Supply Protection (BWSP) will review the reasons a public water system should sample for microcystin and how to interpret the data. NYSDOH Wadsworth Center for Laboratories (WC) and the Environmental Laboratory Program (ELAP) program will assist and will also review the analytical methodology and ELAP program.
